CNC plasma table cutting out decorative hurricane straps for a western designed porch.
Northwest of Wickenburg there is a rounabout with a giant set of spurs.
The spurs were designed by Kelly Hill the president of BearCat Mfg. for Shea Homes Trilogy at Wickenburg Ranch.
Each spur is 28′ long x 14′ wide with 8′ rowels and 4300 lbs.
The scroll work is cut from 3/8″ aluminum plate. The steel part of the spurs have rusted while the aluminum scroll work has maintained its silver color. This was designed for a rustic look that over time will maintain the contrast between the steel and scroll work.
